This 2'x7' gorgeous piece is better used as a table runner...a festive touch to a holiday table laden with savory, steaming foods. Sealed with polyurethane, these table runners and floorscapes wipe up effortlessly. We are presently in Green Lake, WI, with 650 Americorps Serve Wisconsin Volunteers, painting five collaborative floorscapes, each emphasizing one of the focus points for the coming year...when we get home we'll post another photo of these poinsettias in situ...

At the Hang Up Gallery in Neenah, WI
These three floor cloths Connie painted are at the Hang Up Gallery, 204 West Wisconsin Avenue, Neenah, WI. The Coy and Autumn pieces are aprox. 3'x5', the Vegetables, 2.5'x6'. These photos can't even hint at the brilliant colors and the supple texture Connie creates. The Hang Up Gallery has three floors of art to choose from, call 920-722-0481 • Toll-Free: 800-348-0481 or visit the website at http://www.thehangupgallery.com/
Over the weekend we hosted Art's Happening #5...due to the weather most of the art was inside, James Koch had his sculptures set up outside. Here's one picture but I lost many of the photos I took, fortunately Larry Seiler, one of the seven featured artists, posted several on his blog: http://larryseiler.blogspot.com/
Friday evening it was so packed with people there was hardly room...there was an amazing array of wonderful foods to snack on: Marbled Tea Eggs, Truffled Popcorn (thanks, Rob!), Bison Summer sausage (from Stephen Wysocki, also a featured artist), platters overflowing with Antipasto and so much more which Connie had arranged in a beautiful flow (along with rearranging the rest of the house to accommodate all the art seamlessly and meticulously
Saturday was much more relaxed. the open house hours were from 10AM - 4PM, with a steady stream of people coming from near and as far as Milwaukee, Appleton and Rhinelander!
Larry, Dale Keller (featured Potter), and Tim provided the soundscape with etherial improvisational weavings during the day...later during the afterparty they were joined by Dan Deschinney on guitar and banjo for some riproaring blues/bluegrass jamming!
This event was the birth of our artist guild: (in alphabetical order) Elizabeth Couillard, Connie Friesen, Margaret Gerhart, Dale Keller, James Koch, Larry Seiler, Collette Suminski, Stephen Wysocki...with much more to come...

Greetings...Tim here, Connie's husband...Here is a 6'x9' Myth'Illogical floorscape...add a coffee table and, voila, pheasant under glass.
In addition to being beautiful, practical, and extremely durable, Connie's floorscapes are hypo-allergenic...the ideal floor cover for those who are not using carpets.
Connie has more than 30 floorscapes to choose from, each is a one-of-a-kind original piece of art.
We'll be posting more each day.
Please contact us for pricing.
